As a pioneer, Stanley has built his leadership and influence in China’s Internet industry and contributed to the proliferation and commercial practices of the Internet in China. Stanley was also the founder of HiChina Group (acquired by Alibaba Group). He was awarded “Outstanding Young Entrepreneur of Beijing” in 2002, 2003, 2007 and 2008 by the Beijing Municipal Government, and “Outstanding Entrepreneur” by the Beijing Zhong Guan Cun Science and Technology Park.
Stanley graduated from the Department of Electronic Engineering of Tsinghua University in 1989 and holds an EMBA from Tsinghua University.
Founding & Managing PartnerGan Fong JekFounding & Managing PartnerFong Jek has 20 years of experience in cross-border strategic and venture investments, M&A, and corporate development in telecommunications, media, technologies, Internet, mobile, FMCG and luxury retail sectors across Asia Pacific, especially Greater China. He held senior investment positions in Kraft Foods, Temasek companies (STT and MediaCorp), Asian Family Corporations (MNC Media and Sincere Watch) and co-founded two corporate venture funds.
Fong Jek holds Dual EMBA degrees from INSEAD and Tsinghua University, a Master in Business (Family Business) and Bachelor of Accountancy (Honours) from Nanyang Technological University. He is also a Chartered Accountant of Singapore.++
Managing PartnerGeorge GongManaging PartnerGeorge has more than 25 years of experience in strategy, investment, sales and marketing in the Information Technology industry. In 1995, he co-founded Beyondsoft, currently listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange with a market capitalization of approximately RMB8 billion. George currently resides in New Zealand and invests in startups in the Internet sector.
Graduated from the Computer Science and Engineering of Beihang University in 1992, George also holds an EMBA Master’s degree from Tsinghua University.
PartnerXu JianPartnerXu Jian is a partner of Jubilee Tech Fund in Beijing and Singapore, focusing on IoT/ Smart connections and Internet investments.
Prior to JCM, Xu Jian was the CEO and Vice Chairman of YNET and was concurrently the CTO of the whole Beijing Youth Daily Media Group until 2015. A veteran of 25 years in the Media and IT industry, Xu Jian started his career with the Beijing Youth Daily as a journalist, and rose through the ranks, serving as editor in 1989 and General Manager of YNET.com, the internet sector of the Media Group. Before his appointment as the CEO and Vice Chairman of YNET, Xu Jian was the President of the Beijing Associate Network Organization (BANO) and the executive member of the Beijing Youth Federation (BYF) of the 9th Committee.
Vice PresidentWu YongzhiVice PresidentYongzhi is an investor and entrepreneur with more than 15 years of experience in venture capital and the Information Technology industries. He has rich experience in establishing, operating, and managing early-stage technology companies, especially those in product development, enterprise strategy planning and entrepreneurial team building. Yongzhi is an expert in combining venture capital, business development and operational experience to help companies grow rapidly. Before joining JCM, Yongzhi worked for an early venture capital firm, Synapse Partner, and was deeply involved in investing in a number of companies up to their IPO. Prior to that, he was also the founder of two technology companies.
Yongzhi received his master degree from China University of Science and Technology with a background in Computer Technology.
Investment ManagerNicole LiuInvestment ManagerNicole graduated from Nanyang Technological University with a Master's degree in Entrepreneurship and Innovation, and has a strong financial background. During her exchange programme at Stanford University, she had the chance to visit American tech giants such as Google, Intel, Facebook, Oracle, Apple, etc. Nicole is proficient in the analysis of industry positioning, competitiveness and potential competition risk analysis in targeted companies; as well as historical and forecast financial analysis and valuation modelling.
Senior Associate - InvestmentSam YangSenior Associate - InvestmentSam is a Senior Associate based in JCM Singapore office with a focus on investments of TMT, Consumer and Fintech sectors across South East Asia and China markets. Most recently prior to JCM, Sam worked as investment analyst at Zino Ventures, the first Chinese-led cross-border venture capital in New Zealand. During that time, besides deal souring and evaluating Sam also led two major event projects including ‘2017 New Kiwis Challenge’, a national-wide Entrepreneurship Competition. Previously, Sam started his career with KPMG New Zealand Audit and China Practise, providing financial advisory and audit services to a wide range of high-profile local and international businesses.
Sam holds Master of Finance Master from Nanyang Technological University and Bachelor of Commerce from University of Auckland in New Zealand. Sam was also a former BD manager at New Zealand China Trade Association Young Associates.
Investor Relations ManagerYe YuanyuanInvestor Relations ManagerYuan joined JCM in 2016 and is Investor Relations Manager since 2018. Before switching to Investor Relations, she took on multiple roles here including funds' financial affairs, compliance, and operations. She has 8 years of related working experience, specializing in management and operations for companies in various industries such as banking, IT and media. She was previously worked for two technology start-ups based in Singapore and were in charge of both finance and operation. Yuan started her career with HSBC China, where she was responsible for premier customer relations.
Yuan holds a BFA from the University of New South Wales and ICA Advanced Certificate in Governance, Risk and Compliance.
